Structured Learning
We believe “the PROCESS/NOT THE PRODUCT,” to be the most significant aspect of how children learn, and is the basis of our teaching philosophy. Every child is an individual and precious being, and our goal is to teach children the skills and personal values they need for life, including responsibility, honesty, and respect.
Creative expression is a critical part of encouraging your child's imagination. As children create and imagine, they begin to form their own unique personalities and skills.
Visual Perception
Visual perception activities exercise your child's aptitude for the distinction and relationship between sizes and shapes.
Vocabulary
Vocabulary development is a collective product of life-long experiences, and at an early age, children should acquire the four vocabularies in this order: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Discovery Learning
Individual exploration and observation form the basis for discovery learning, and form a foundation for the child to establish skills in problem solving, making comparisons, and critical thinking.
Social Play
Consideration of others, good attitudes, and sharing, are fundamental factors in developing strong social skills for your child's lifetime. Our staff offers a warm and understanding approach to this very important learning segment.
Math & Science
Life requires that we understand number-numeral relationships, measurements, problem solving, and the concept of “sets,” where your child learns to match and compare objects within a group.
Art
By experiencing art through touching, shaping, and pasting, your child will sharpen motor skills, logical thinking, and powers of observation. Art is an important element in individual creative expression and visual problem solving.
Music
Music activities encourage children to develop vocal skills and kinesthetic abilities. Music promotes healthy children by encouraging them to experience freedom of movement in their environment.
From infant through to Pre-Prep, our well trained and caring staff provides the progressive and structured learning children need as they transitition from one age to the next.
Each child will have their own individual profile which will provide the basis for your child's teacher to identify any strengths and weaknesses in your child's development and in turn, plan a program which is trailored to meet the individual development needs of child.
